Supporting people with autism find work

I am a AS Mentor for Autism Forward who are a charity providing grants for mentoring support to adults on the spectrum to help break down barriers when looking for employment. Grants are awarded through an application process, which is completed directly through me and then forwarded to the charity. I work predominantly in the Plymouth area and provide support to gain either paid employment or voluntary employment. If you would like to discuss what I can offer and how the process works, please get in touch and we can discuss suitability for the grant.

As an AS Mentor, I can help with understanding workplace frameworks, developing CV’s interview techniques, finding work, motivation, identifying skills and many other things associated with the workplace and employment. I have many years’ experience of mentoring, tutoring, employability and coaching and I have been working with individuals on the spectrum for quite a few years, so you are in safe hands with me!

I can also support the transition into work and the application to DWP for Access to Work (ATW) support. which is designed to assist someone once they have started working. As a ATW Autism Mentor mentoring support can continue with me once employment has been found. So, if you know anyone who may benefit or are interested please get in touch. I am happy take you through the application process for the grant or discuss the ATW AS Mentor support.
