So, who is Faraday Fearnside?

For the last 12 years of my working life, I have helped, facilitated, guided and supported many clients, students and friends to transform their lives. And I can help you to do the same if you really want to live the life that you enjoy.

So, what qualifies me to, tutor, coach or mentor you?

Not only do I have many years of experience and training in my field of work, but I also have many years of personal experience facilitating change in my own life in the areas of education, physical and mental health, emotional well-being, diet and my working practice. In 2014, following another traumatic and emotionally threatening incident, I decided enough was enough and started to address the emotional and mental path my life was taking. What started as a very intensive and therapeutic journey of change involved enormous amounts of sacrifice, personal development, resilience, stamina and most of all learning about who I was, where I came from, what my life had been and where I wanted to go.

Change Happens When We Want It!

My life and work experience, and the journey of change I have taken have equipped me with so much insight, expertise and knowledge to support many of my clients and students to achieve their goals – whether these are personal, educational or work-related.

My story is considered to be pretty unique; it is one of sadness, trauma, poverty and at times real struggle; yet it is one of determination strength, resilience and positive change. In 2014 at the age of 41 after a lifetime of suffering the consequences of early physical and emotional trauma, I wanted out of how I was feeling. I had started to recognise that my difficulties in life were not external to me but were due to my past experiences which had been pretty traumatic.

I acutely understand the effects of stress on the body and mind and have a deep understanding of what we need to do to make changes and break habits and patterns, how to step back from the stress and come to a place of presence and calm. I understand that big change in our lives starts with very small steps of internal change – it is the ripple effect – the pebble in the water; if you put in the good you can watch it spread. Each small change we make is a piece of the bigger jigsaw puzzle of our lives, and as we do life presents us with more opportunity.

Instead of once again, reaching to my external environment and material world to ‘fix me’ I went internal and started working on my mind, body and inner self. In doing so I have combated several unhealthy addictions and negative behaviour patterns and habits, which was tough!

By letting go of destructive behaviour patterns I found more clarity and peace of mind. By undergoing several mind and body therapies to facilitate these changes, I have transitioned to a new way of living and being, whilst also coming to terms with my past experiences and traumas and starting to make peace with them. The work on my inner self has led me to my new path and a new way of being and has done more for me than 20 years of medication ever did. Each day is a new change and new growth in my life.

Most of all I understand life can be full of joy and laughter and sometimes we can suffer setbacks and sadness that can knock us back. We can then feel stuck and frustrated. If you decide to take up some coaching or mentoring sessions I guarantee you will have some fun along the way, get to know yourself slightly better and recognise how small changes can create big steps towards a more satisfying life.
